ANT 4414 - Anthropology of Time and Transformation

This course examines the anthropology of time with a focus on transformation, the future, and concepts, practices, and classifications regarding temporalities. The course provides students with an overview of the anthropological literature on time and transformation. The course is designed as an undergraduate seminar class with a writing-intensive curriculum and weekly in-class discussions centered around anthropological readings.
Prerequisite(s): ANT 2200  or ANT 3310  or Permission of Instructor
