GIS 2201 - Introduction to Spatial Computing using Python 3 Credit Hour(s)
This course introduces students to Spatial Computing using Python as a programming language. This course will introduce students to computer programming and mathematical and scientific modules/packages in Python. Students will learn basic concepts of geospatial objects, such as points, lines and polygons, and geospatial algorithms through Python programming. They will get hands-on experience in processing, analyzing, and visualizing spatial data and writing computer programs to solve geospatial problems. Prerequisite(s): MTH 1114
