SOC 4451 - Peace, Conflict and Human Rights 3 Credit Hour(s)
Sociological analysis of peace, conflict and human rights, with a focus on the last 100 years. Emphasis will be placed on non-violent struggles at the nation-state level internationally. The role of ethnic and religious affiliations in current war and conflict at home and abroad will also be examined. Prerequisite(s): SOC 2275
