A study of how sensory information helps both the human species and other animals to thrive. Exploration of the senses including their physiological makeup, development and functioning. Theoretical and empirical foundations of perception and the applications of perceptual knowledge are emphasized. Prerequisite(s): Six semester hours of psychology and sophomore standing or above
