EET 3311 - Electronic Devices I 3 Credit Hour(s)
This foundational course familiarizes the theory and concepts of modern solid-state devices by introducing the fundamental concepts of P-N junction diodes, Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT), and Field-Effect Transistors (FET). Also, diode and transistor related circuits along with the biasing AC models are covered. Emphasis is placed on their characteristics and applications, such as rectifiers and amplifiers. Circuit simulation software is used to design and analyze basic diode and transistor circuity. Prerequisite(s): EET 2221 , EET L221 Co-requisite(s): EET L311 and MTH 1114 or higher math course
