RED 6672 - Literacy Instruction: K-6

This course develops knowledge and strategies in literacy instruction for grades K-6. Teacher candidates and in-service educators will examine current theories and research from the body of science of reading research. Specific emphasis will be place on instructional strategies in reading fluency, vocabulary, reading, comprehension, and writing.

Prerequisite(s): RED 6631 or with the permission of the department chair or designee.
