Undergraduate research with attention to critical evaluation of research techniques, methods and procedures. Also see “Independent Study and Research” under Academic Regulations for additional information.
Note: This course may be repeated 1 to 3 credit hours per course per semester.
Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior standing with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, permission of guiding professor, approval of department chair or dean. May not be used to repeat a course for which a grade of D or below has been earned. Guided independent research may be taken only in the applicant’s major or minor field.
