PSY 6694 - Global Psychology Study Abroad

This course examines the multifaceted influences on psychological functioning within the context of globalization, focusing on significant issues such as security, food, health, and environmental challenges. Designed to attract students from diverse disciplines, the course fosters inter-professional collaboration and equips students with a deeper understanding of their global identity and intercultural competence for personal and professional growth. Students will have an opportunity for a study abroad or within the interior United States experience to gain firsthand insights into cross-cultural applications of psychological principles. This transformative experience will deepen students’ understanding of varied social, cultural, and environmental factors, broaden perspectives, enhance cultural awareness, and develop essential global competencies.
