BIO L562 - Clinical Pathophysiology I Lab


1 Semester Hour(s)

This is the lab that accompanies Clinical Pathophysiology I. Students will work through case studies of dyspnea, edema, chest pain, anemia, fatigue, bleeding/bruising, palpitations, hypertension, hypotension, and elevated creatinine that will enhance the student’s understanding of the material taught in the lecture course. Students will also learn the fundamentals of reading EKGs and X-rays as well as interpretation of core labs including CBC, CMP, urinalysis, PT, and PTT.

Prerequisite(s): CHM 3352/L352, BIO 3348/L348, BIO 3372/L372, or equivalent.
Corequisite(s): BIO 5562 Clinical Pathophysiology I
