Centers on the understanding of the Advanced Practice Nurse’s role to practice dimensions of leadership and technology within today’s healthcare system. Explores the planning, analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical information systems. Includes strategies for developing a strategic plan and issues in project management along with major design and implementation issues. Students will also explore managerial functions of planning, organizing, leading, and evaluating across the healthcare system.
