ILA 8804 - Global Human Resources

This course examines the principles of human resources in the global educational world. Topics include global leadership in terms of planning, organizing, staffing, directing, controlling, communication, decision-making, priority setting to meet global organizational and institutional goals. The course also examines tools and techniques for selection, training, compensation, and performance appraisal in different countries. Focus areas include knowledge of diversity in the workplace, cultural values, ideals, principles, ethics, and the role of global educational leadership.
