BMS 6660 - Histology & Embryology

The Histology and Embryology course is designed to help students develop an understanding of human tissues and organs at the microscopic level, as well as an understanding of the tissues and organs of the embryo and fetus. The course format will emphasize the link between the development of an organ or tissue with its mature structure and function. The lecture and laboratory portions of this course will overlap and reinforce each other, with lectures emphasizing concepts and laboratory exercises emphasizing identification of cell and tissue types.
