BMS 6655 - Clinical Biochemistry

This course is the discipline of pathology (or laboratory medicine) that is concerned with the detection and measurement of biochemical changes in disease. This course will give a succinct overview, the “big picture”, and relevance of biochemistry and essential pathways that regulate and affect various disorders. Discussion of potential targets for research and drug development through the use of case studies will be included.

Prerequisite(s): Cell Biology/Lab, General Chemistry/Lab, Genetics or equivalent, or by permission of instructor.
