BIO 6621 - Environmental Toxicology

This course is a foundation for scientific decision-making involving contaminants and their effects on biological systems. It covers the basic principles of environmental toxicology including bioaccumulation, the biological effects of toxicants from the molecular to global level of organization, and a basic understanding of the risk of environmental pollutants and the science of risk assessment.

Prerequisite(s): Eight semester hours or equivalent of chemistry
