Students seeking Alabama teacher certification should complete the English major and the required courses for language arts, in addition to selecting education as a second major. Students should consult their advisers concerning all certification requirements.

General Studies Program: Specialized Requirements

All students are required to complete the Troy University General Studies Program requirements. The major requires the selection of certain courses within the General Studies Program. For all other General Studies requirements, students may select from courses approved within the General Studies Program.
