SWK 2280 - Social Work Research I


3 Credit Hour(s)

This course introduces standard research procedures in the social and behavioral sciences. Students will learn key data collection tools, analytical techniques, and the fundamentals of writing research reports. Ethical issues related to working with human participants- particularly cultural diversity- are explored throughout. The course also highlights the assessment of social work practices through individual-based evaluations and experimental or quasi-experimental designs.
Prerequisite(s): MTH 1110  or MTH 1112  or higher
