NSG 6693 - Research and Statistical Methods for Evidence-Based Practice

3 Semester Hour(s)

Reviews the processes for ethical conduct of research and translation of evidence for nursing practice and patient outcomes. Identifies how nursing theory frames research. Examines basic statistical methods for analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating quantitative data. Emphasis is on the rigorous critique, utilization and generation of research, research data, and evidence relevant to advanced practice nursing. A grade of “B” or better is required.
