AI 6630 - Applied Management of Generative AI


3 Semester Hour(s)

Covers an applied examination of the methods for handling unstructured text data and deriving insights from heterogeneous sources. Students will discuss frameworks like Lang Chain and the use and management of technologies such as Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) and Grouped Query Attention (GQA). The course includes the review of practical strategies in deploying Large Language Models (LLMs), using Natural Language Processing (NLP) for sentiment analysis, and integrating structured/unstructured data for improved predictions. Applications discussed include issues of scraping web data, analyzing customer behavior, and fine-tuning language models in business contexts.
