CP 6608 - Introduction to Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health 3 Semester Hour(s)
This graduate-level course provides an overview of infant and early childhood mental health, with emphasis on early development within the context of family relationships. Topics include attachment, neurobiological development, biopsychosocial influences, ethics, and early risk and protective factors. Clinical perspectives inform assessment, case conceptualization, and intervention with infants and their families.
