CP 6642 - Group Dynamics and Counseling 3 Semester Hour(s)
This course prepared students to design, facilitate, and evaluate group counseling across service delivery modalities. Emphasis includes theoretical foundations, group dynamics and therapeutic factors, leadership characteristics, member recruitment/screening, technology application in group work, types/settings and contextual considerations, and culturally sustaining and developmentally responsive strategies, with explicit coverage of ethical and legal considerations. This course requires an in-person residency for Troy online students.
