AT 6664 - Immersive Clinical Experience

This clinical experience emphasizes student preparation for autonomous practice. This course is a practice-intensive clinical experience that allows the student to experience the totality of care provided by athletic trainers. Students will demonstrate proficiency practicing evidence-based practice, cultural competence, communication, ethical decision making, documentation, and patient centered care. Within the didactic portion of this course, students will continue preparation for the Board of Certification Examination and prepare themselves for professional practice. The didactic portion may be delivered in person, remotely, or hybrid.
