ITP 3351 - ASL/English Linguistics 3 Credit Hour(s)
This course is designed to introduce the linguistics of ASL, including phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. Geographical, generational, racial and gender differences are explored. English and ASL similarities and differences are highlighted. Prerequisite(s): Sign Language Proficiency Interview rating of Intermediate Plus, and ASL 2242 with a grade of C or better, or permission of ITP Academic Advisor.
