BIO 5547 - Ornithology

Biology, ecology, evolution, and the conservation of birds. Topics include the origin and diversification of birds, seasonal migrations, bird communities, and the consequences of global change for bird diversity. Labs are integrated and include field trips for the observation and identification of birds and a project developed by students.

Prerequisite(s): General Biology, General Ecology (BIO 2229), or permission of the instructor.
